While increasing the allowance of Krishak Mitras working in Jharkhand, the government has decided to give them Rs 2000 per month instead of Rs 1000. The number of Krishak Mitras across the state is 16532.
Jharkhand DA Hike 2024: After giving the gift of DA to government employees and pensioners, the Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand has now given a big gift to the mid-day meal cooks along with the Krishak Mitras. Before Navratri Dussehra, the Hemant Soren government of the state has increased their honorarium allowance.
In the cabinet meeting held on Friday, the honorarium of Krishak Mitras and mid-day meal women cooks in government schools of Jharkhand has been increased by one thousand rupees each. More than 16000 Krishak Mitras and 83 thousand cooks will benefit from this decision.
Earlier in the last cabinet meeting, the dearness allowance of government employees and DA/DR of pensioners and family pensioners was increased by 9 to 16 percent. Its benefit will be available only from January 1, 2024, that is, from October, the salary pension will increase in the account.
Honorarium increased
Under the centrally sponsored PM Poshan Yojana, the cook-cum-helper was approved an increase of Rs 1000 per month as additional honorarium from the state plan under the state scheme, for a total of 12 months. Earlier they used to get Rs 1,000 per month for 10 months. Now they will get Rs 2,000 per month.

These proposals were also approved in the cabinet meeting
Approval was given to increase the honorarium of academic and non-academic medical officers working on contract in the Government Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital at Paraspani in Godda.
The proposal to make provision for permission to fill the offline pension form for those employees of Jharkhand state covered by the order of Jharkhand High Court or Supreme Court, whose adjustment has been done with effect before 01.12.2004, or whose appointment date has been considered as the date before 01.12.2004 and whose previous service has been decided to be counted for pension purposes, was approved.
Approval was given to fix the remuneration/honorarium and service conditions of retired employees for contract based appointment to the post of senior auditors in the Directorate of Audit.
Approval was given for amendment in Resolution No. 781 dated 16.03.2024 regarding accepting notional increment for calculation of retirement benefits of employees retiring on 30 June / 31 December.
Approval was given for revision of pension (including family pension) in the Seventh Central Pay Scale to retired / deceased teachers of non-government aided (including minority) primary schools of Jharkhand and teachers / non-teaching staff of non-government aided minority secondary schools, similar to retired / deceased teachers / non-teaching staff of governmentized primary and governmentized secondary schools.
