IT city Bengaluru has seen a tremendous increase of about 31 percent in residential rents between last January and September. According to the report of property consultant Anarock, there has been an increase of about 31 percent in the rent of 2 BHK i.e. 1000 square meter flat in Bengaluru.

People generally have to pay rent up to Rs 28,500 per month for a 2 BHK flat in Bengaluru. Whereas in January it was around Rs 24,600 per month. In such a situation, between January and September, there has been an increase of more than 30 percent in the house rates. Whereas in Sarjapur Road, Bengaluru, house rents have increased by about 27 percent in the last nine months.

Rent increased in these cities also

According to Anarock’s report, apart from Bengaluru, residential rents have increased in other metro cities also in the last nine months. This includes the names of cities like Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi and Mumbai. There has been an increase of 24 percent in residential rents in IT City Hyderabad between January and September. Whereas in Pune, there has been an increase of 17 percent in residential rent in the last nine months. Talking about Delhi, there has been an increase of 14 percent in house rents in Dwarka area between January and September. Whereas in Noida Sector 150, there has been an increase of 13 percent in the rental price and on Sohna Road in Gurugram, there has been an increase of 11 percent.

Talking about Mumbai, an increase of 14 percent and 9 percent has been seen in the rent of residential houses in Chembur and Mulund areas. Whereas in Pallavaram and Perambur areas of Chennai, an increase of 12 percent and 9 percent is being seen in the house rents. Whereas in the last nine months, an increase of 14 percent and 9 percent has been seen in the rates in Bypass and Rajarhat areas of Kolkata.
