How long will the lockdown be applicable in Delhi? Answer of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Wednesday that vaccination has started in both the government and private sectors, but there is a need to increase the supply of vaccine doses in the capital. Meanwhile, Kejriwal also made it clear whether the lockdown in Delhi will be extended further.

Kejriwal, who visited the vaccination center at Radha Swami Satsang Beas in Rajendra Nagar area, said that vaccination has started in both the government and private sectors. The only problem is that we need large-scale vaccines, but we have received very few vaccine doses.

Kejriwal said, “As I have already said that we can vaccinate the whole of Delhi in three months. If we get enough vaccine doses, we can achieve this goal.”

Meanwhile, how long will the lockdown be in Delhi? When asked about this, Kejriwal said that the lockdown will be extended as long as it is needed. People themselves are demanding a lockdown. The lockdown in Delhi has been extended till May 10. The lockdown was earlier extended until May 3 amid a severe shortage of beds in hospitals as the second wave of Corona virus caused havoc.
