Some time back the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) had launched a web portal. With this, users can check how many mobile connections have been issued in their name. TAFCOP portal can be used for this.
From this portal, it can be seen that how many SIMs have been issued on one Aadhaar card. According to DoT guidelines, up to 9 mobile connections can be withdrawn from one Aadhaar card.
With the help of the portal , if users feel that a wrong number has been issued from their Aadhaar card, then they can also request to close it through the portal. Here we are telling you the complete method for this.
How many SIMs have been issued from your Aadhaar? For this you have to first go to the website of TAFCOP.
You can access the TAFCOP website at https://tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in. After the website is opened, you will have to give the mobile number here and request for OTP.
You will get an OTP message from DoT. With this you can validate your sign in. After it is validated, the portal will show you the list of all the mobile numbers linked to the Aadhaar card.
You can also request to close the number which is not in use here. Let us tell you that this service is currently only for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. In the coming time, this will be issued for the rest of the states as well.
