But if you have done a job for 10 years or more than 10 years, then after leaving the job, you can withdraw your PF money through Form-19. But you cannot withdraw your pension contribution money, because you have completed 10 years of service and you have completed pensionable service under EPS-95 ie you will get monthly pension after retirement. What is the EPS 95 Pension Plan?
EPS 95 employee pension scheme is known by many names like EPF pension scheme, EPS (employees pension scheme), employee pension scheme, this scheme has been started since 1995 hence it is called EPS-95. On completion of 10 years contribution by an employee, he becomes eligible to get monthly pension under EPFO’s EPS 95 Employees Pension Scheme and after 58 years of age he gets some salary as regular monthly pension.
At present the minimum pension amount is ₹ 1000 and the maximum pension amount is ₹ 7500 i.e. if according to the calculation the regular pension amount of an employee becomes ₹ 800, he will still get at least ₹ 1000 monthly pension and any employee above ₹ 7500. Will not get monthly pension of Rs. A lot of efforts are currently being made by many organizations to increase the minimum pension amount of eps-95.
Qualification for EPS-95 pension
Under the EPS-95 Act, it is necessary to have 10 years of service to get a monthly pension and 50 years of age to get a pension and 58 years of age to get a regular pension. 10 years of service can be done in any one company, or even after transferring a PF account while working at different places, even after completing 10 years of service, they become eligible for eps-95 pension. This does not mean that you should have 10 years of continuous employment in one company, you can become an eps-95 pensioner even after working in different places.
When do you get EPF Monthly Pension?
If you have completed 10 years of job, then you become eligible for monthly pension under EPS-95. Under the eps-95 Act, monthly pension starts after the age of 58 years. But let us tell you that you can start your pension even after the age of 50, although in this you will get the pension amount reduced.
EPF Form 10D Online Submission Eligibility
If you want to apply to get your monthly pension under eps-95, then you have to submit Form 10d, which you can submit Form 10d online through Unified Member Portal, but there are some important things to keep in mind Is required only then you will be able to submit online form 10d. Such as-
- Your UAN number should be activated.
- UAN should have Aadhaar and Bank KYC link.
- A profile photo must be uploaded to a UAN account.
- E-nomination must be filed.
- The e-nomination filed should be verified through e-sign.
- Date of joining and date of exit should be updated.
- There should be at least 10 years of service.
How to apply EPF Form 10D online
- First login to the UAN member portal.
- On the Online Services tab, select the CLAIM (FORM-31,19,10C & 10D) option.
- Verify by entering your bank account number.
- Click on the Yes button in the pop-up message, click on the proceed for online claim button.
- In the option I want to apply for, select MONTHLY PENSION (FORM-10D).
- Details of scheme certificate (if any) If you have a scheme certificate for any service, then enter its information.
- Choose yes or no option in the deferred pension option. (We have explained this in detail below)
- Details of your nominee will be shown in the family details, you check it.
- Enter your address in Employee address.
- Enter your bank account details in bank details.
- Upload scanned copy of check / passbook photo of bank account check or passbook.
- Click on Get Aadhar OTP button below
- Enter the OTP and click on submit button. Your EPF form 10D will be submitted successfully.
- So friends, in this way you can submit EPF FORM 10D online. After submitting the Form 10D, your pension claim will be proceeded by the EPFO within the next 10 days.
