PNB has also issued new IFSC and MICR codes for the customers. After March 31, the old MICR code and IFSC code will stop working. From April 1, payment will not be possible through the old checkbook. The bank has requested the customers that if the customers do not have this information, then they will not be able to transact money online.
How to get new IFSC and MICR
Now PNB has once again made it clear by tweeting that a new IFSC and MICR has been issued to the customers of Oriental Bank of Commerce and United Bank of India. In such a situation, if a customer has not yet received this information, then he will have to give information about it by SMS to the bank.

Such customers can send SMS to 9264092640 by writing UPGR from their registered mobile number. After this, the bank will be given the necessary information about it.
Explain that Oriental Bank of India and United Bank of India have been merged with Punjab National Bank. Customers of these two banks have now become customers of PNB.
Checkbook will be available at home
If you are a customer of OBC and United Bank of India and you have an old checkbook, then you have to get a new passbook. PNB is also providing facility of doorstep checkbook to its customers. In such a situation, you will not even need to go to the bank branch for the checkbook. However, you will be charged for doorstep facility.
The old ATM will continue to work
By issuing a statement from the bank, it has also been said that the old ATM cards will still work. If a customer needs a new ATM card, they can apply for it. Apart from internet banking and mobile banking, applications can also be done by going to the bank branch. The cards of Oriental Bank of India and United Bank of India are valid and customers can use it.
