The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has given approval to link RuPay card to UPI. After which now UPI payment (RuPay credit card UPI Transaction) can be done through RuPay credit card. Many big banks of the country like Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC Bank, Yes Bank and Federal Bank launched Virtual RuPay Card. With the help of which it will be easy to do normal UPI transactions.
UPI payment will be easy
Customers who have MasterCard or Visa cards can apply to get the Virtual RuPay Credit Card. With the help of which payment can be made through any UPI app. This is similar to payment through normal UPID.
For this you should already have a credit card of that bank. The card you are already using will be considered as the primary card and Virtual Rupay Credit Card will be considered as the secondary option. For a long time, RBI tried to simplify the rules of UPI.
How to do UPI transaction
If you are a Visa or MasterCard holder, then first of all you have to find out whether Virtual RuPay Credit Card facility is available in your bank or not. If the bank is providing this facility then UPI transaction can be done with the help of virtual card. This will be an extra card, which can be linked to other payment apps.
Customers will have to link the virtual credit card to their UPI. After which transactions can be done with the help of UPI app Paytm, Phone Pay, Google Pay. Just like there is a limit on MasterCard or Visa card, similarly there is a limit on Rupay card also.
