EPFO account holders can update the KYC details online on the UAN EPFO portal. Apart from this, if KYC details are updated, then EPF accounts can be easily transferred. After activation, the member gets information related to PF through SMS every month.
EPFO members can update or change KYC details on the portal by visiting the EPFO member portal. After login, customers can update their KYC details using the required documents and UAN number. EPF account holder will not receive SMS alert for not submitting KYC documents.

- Go to the EPFO UAN portal and login to your EPF account using your UAN and password.
- Go to the ‘Manage’ section and then click on ‘KYC’ option from the drop-down menu.
- A new page will appear in which there will be a list with various documents such as Aadhaar, Passport, Driving License, whose details will have to be filled.
- Click on the checkbox next to the document you want to update and fill in the details.
- After updating the details, click on Save option.
- The uploaded KYC document will be digitally approved by the employer. Until then, the status pending KYC will appear.
- Once the documents are approved you will get an SMS.
