How to change phone number?
EPF account members can register their mobile number online in the EPFO database through the EPF member portal. It is also very easy to change the mobile number in the Provident Fund account by visiting the UAN member portal. For this, if you have to go to the official website and then click on ‘Contact Details’ in the ‘Manage’ section. Go to Manage Contact details here and you can change your number in mobile number here. In this, you have to enter the phone number twice and after that you can make these changes through the OTP of the EPF portal twice.
How to change mobile number if you have forgotten your password
Many times it happens that you have changed the register number and forget the password of the account, then you have to change the mobile number in another way. Actually, due to not having a number in this situation, you are not able to run the Provident Fund account as well. For this, go to Forget Password on EPF portal. Enter your UAN and captcha and click on the “Submit” button. After this do NO to send OTP. After this, you have to fill your personal information on the second page, which includes information such as date of birth, etc.
To verify your information, select Aadhaar / PAN and enter your Aadhaar / PAN. Now click on the “Verify” button to validate your request. After this, you will get the option to enter new numbers and from this you will get OTP on the new number. After this you can open your account through OTP. This will also update the password and then you can register your new number.
