HPCL Retail Store Happy Shop: Customers can not only buy goods from the shops but can also shop online and get home delivery of goods.
The country’s third largest fuel retailer HP i.e. Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) on Friday launched its branded story ‘Happy Shop’. With this, the company entered the retail business other than fuel. In this Happy Shop of HP, food items, grocery items, groceries, cosmetics, beauty products, bakery products, medical products, medicines etc. will be available.
Fuel retailing companies across the world are vigorously pursuing non-fuel retailing business to increase their overall revenue. Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited has also taken a step in this direction. Non-fuel retail services such as kirana stores, malls, etc. form an integral part of the revenue of retail fuel companies globally.
Although its trend in the Indian market is not very old. The contribution of non-fuel segment to the revenue in the international market ranges between 40-50 per cent of the total profitability while in India it is only four per cent.
Store opened in Mumbai, will get 24×7 service
HPCL said in a statement that it has opened this branded store at one of its petrol pumps in Mumbai. “The store, located at the company-owned retail center on Nepean Sea Road near Malabar Hills, is the company’s latest addition to the ‘Club HP’ centre,” the company said. The services will be available 24×7 i.e. round the clock, all seven days.
The store will offer home use products including food, cosmetics, health products, bakery products, groceries, medicines and more. HPCL said that the main objective is to provide a range of good quality daily use products to the customers as per their convenience.

Online shopping and home delivery
The company has also offered online shopping for the customers. Yes, customers can not only buy goods from shops, but can also shop online and get home delivery of goods. “In addition to in-store sales, the option of ordering and self-pick up, ordering and home delivery will also be available to the customers,” the company said.

According to the company, customers will be able to browse the merchandise on HPCL’s HP-Pay App. Full details of product details and availability will be available here. After this they will be able to order according to their need. After ordering, the option of home delivery will have to be selected and the home delivery of the goods will be done at their doorstep as per convenience.
The company says that this mobile app is easily available on Google’s Play Store and Apple Store. Both Android and iPhone users will be able to use this app.
Stores will also open in other cities of the country
The company has currently opened one store in Mumbai, but said it would open more such stores in Mumbai and other major cities. It is being said that in future, the company can soon open Happy Shop in other cities like Delhi, Noida, Bangalore, Kolkata. The company has also currently released calling and WhatsApp numbers ( 9578630630/9578640640 ) on its social media accounts for door step delivery of goods in Mumbai .
