Rajasthan Employees DA/HRA Bonus: After increasing the dearness allowance of Rajasthan government employees and pensioners by 3 percent, now the Bhajanlal government of the state has increased the house rent allowance. The increase in house rent allowance will be effective from November 1, 2024. Thousands of employees of the state will get its direct benefit.
Under the order issued by the Rajasthan Finance Department, the state government has increased the HRA for the employees of ‘Y’ and ‘Z’ category cities, after which now the employees working in ‘Y’ category cities will now get 20 percent HRA, while HRA has been increased by 10 percent for ‘Z’ category cities. State employees will also get increased dearness allowance and house rent allowance from November 1.
Employees will also get the benefit of holiday in Rajasthan
The state government has declared November 1 as a public holiday, during which office institutions will remain closed. The Rajasthan government has declared this public holiday on the demand of employee organizations. DA of Rajasthan employees and pensioners increased by 3%
Recently, the Bhajanlal government of Rajasthan has increased the dearness allowance (DA) of employees and pensioners by 3%, after which DA has increased from 50% to 53%. The new rates will be applicable from July 1, 2024, in such a situation, arrears from July to September will also be available. The arrears will be deposited in the GPF (General Provident Fund) account of the employees. After November 1, the increased DA will be paid in cash along with the salary.
Retired employees will be paid the increased DA in cash from July 1. This will benefit 3 lakh 61 thousand 68 pensioners, 1 lakh 96 thousand 449 family pensioners, 1 lakh 38 thousand 1 gazetted officers and 8 lakh 42 thousand 617 non-gazetted employees of the state. The salary pension of October has been released on 30 October.
Increase in grade pay of establishment officers
The state government has also increased the grade pay of establishment officers of subordinate ministerial service, after which the pay scale of establishment officer of subordinate ministerial service has increased from pay level L15 to L16 under Rajasthan Civil Services Revised Pay Rules 2017. Under this, the grade pay of establishment officer will be Rs 6600 instead of Rs 6000. At present, there are about 888 to 900 establishment officers in the state government. The salary of these officers will increase by about Rs 1000 to Rs 1500.
