HUL’s profit up 44.8% in March quarter to Rs 2,190 crore, declaration of Rs 17 / share dividend

HUL has released impressive results for the March quarter. On a year-on-year basis, the company’s profit grew 44.8 percent to Rs 2,190 crore in the March quarter. The company’s profit in the same quarter a year ago was Rs 1,512 crore.




In the fourth quarter of FY 2021, HUL’s income stood at Rs 12,433 crore as against the company’s revenue of Rs 12,020 crore during the period. Let us know that HUL’s income in the fourth quarter of FY 2020 was Rs 9,211 crore.

HUL’s EBITDA stood at Rs 3,043 crore in the fourth quarter on an annual basis. It was estimated to be at Rs 2,925 crore. At the same time, HUL’s EBITDA stood at Rs 2,100 crore in the fourth quarter of FY 2020.

HUL’s EBITDA margin stood at 24.5 per cent in the fourth quarter on an annual basis. Whereas it was estimated to be at 24.3 percent. At the same time, HUL’s EBITDA margin stood at 22.8 per cent in the fourth quarter of FY 2020.

The board of HUL has declared a dividend of Rs 17 per share.

On an annual basis, the company’s other income in the fourth quarter stood at Rs 109 crore against Rs 266 crore.

In the fourth quarter of FY 2021, HUL’s income from home care business grew by 14.6 per cent to Rs 3,838 crore as compared to HUL’s home care business revenue of Rs 3,350 crore in the fourth quarter of FY 2020.

The EBIT from the company’s home care business in the fourth quarter increased by 27.7 per cent to Rs 812 crore, while the EBIT from HUL’s home care business stood at Rs 636 crore in the fourth quarter of FY 2020.

In the fourth quarter of FY 2021, HUL’s revenue from Beauty & Personal Care increased by 19.7 per cent to Rs 4,549 crores as compared to Rs 3,801 crores from HUL’s Beauty & Personal business in the fourth quarter of FY 2020.

EBIT from the company’s Beauty & Personal Care business in the fourth quarter increased by 32.5 per cent to Rs 1,252 crore as compared to Rs 945 crore from HUL’s Beauty & Personal Care business in the fourth quarter of FY2020.
