Meerut: Husband crossed all limits of cruelty in Zaidi Farm of Nauchandi area. For not bringing three lakh rupees from the maternal house, tied the hands and feet of the wife, tried to strangle her with a dupatta by stuffing a cloth in her mouth. Considering the woman dead, the husband left the house. The woman crawled on the ground and reached the gate and knocked on the door. The neighbors opened the gate and opened the hands and feet of the woman and took out the cloth from her mouth. The woman was admitted to a private hospital. The entire incident was captured by the neighbors in the mobile and went viral on the internet media. A case has been registered by the police on the complaint of the maternal side.
Married two years ago
Shaida wife Mustafa, a resident of Khairnagar of Dehli Gate police station, told that the daughter Ashfia was married two years ago to Abdul Qadir, a resident of Ahmednagar of Lisadi Gate. Qadir was pressurizing Ashfia to bring dowry of three lakh rupees since marriage, due to which there was a dispute between the couple and the woman went to her maternal home. Then the dignitary sat down and Ashfia was sent with Qadir. Even after that, Qadir continued to persecute Ashfia.
There was a dispute in the couple again on Sunday
Two months ago, Qadir started living on rent at Zaidi Farm in Nauchandi police station area. He kept on demanding three lakhs continuously. There was a dispute in the couple again on Sunday. After that Qadir committed cruelty at the hands of Ashfia. After informing the neighbors, the people of the maternal side also came to the spot and filed a complaint against the husband and in-laws at Nauchandi police station.

A case has been registered at Nauchandi police station on the complaint of the woman’s maternal side. A case of dowry harassment and death threats has been registered against the accused. Efforts are on to arrest him.
