In India, we have Maruti Suzuki’s trusted secondhand Ertiga and its normal SUV sibling XL6 and Kia’s Karens taking the top spots. But due to many features, this Hyundai Stargazer is giving tough competition to Maruti Ertiga. At present, it has been revealed in media reports that Stargazer will be launched in the foreign market first. There is also news that Stargazer will be produced in India at its plant in Chennai. It is expected that in the coming time it can also be launched in the Indian market, as there is a good sale of big family cars and cars like Maruti Ertiga and Kia Carens sell well here.
Hyundai Stargazer Specifications
Hyundai’s new parametric grille has been shown with a split headlight design. Its horizontal LED DRLs are mounted at the top, and are interconnected while the squarish LED cluster forms its headlight. It also gets a set of attractive looking alloy wheels. At the rear, we see an ‘H’ pattern LED tail-lights which are part of Hyundai’s new design language. The Hyundai Stargazer has been developed on the same platform SP2 as the Kia Carnes, and SUVs like the Hyundai Creta and Alcazar have also been built on it. This 6 seater MPV will be powered by a 1.5 liter 4 cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that will generate 113bhp power and 145Nm torque. A 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine can also be seen in this, which will be able to generate 113bhp power and 250Nm torque. The Stargazer can be offered with a 6-speed manual as well as a CVT automatic gearbox.
