It will provide instant ‘Cardless EMI’ facility for online purchases made on the e-commerce platform. This service is available to pre-approved customers of the bank.

First bank to launch the facility

According to the bank statement, ICICI Bank is the first in the industry to introduce instant cardless EMI facility for online shopping.

ICICI Bank customers can convert the transaction into EMI. You can convert an amount of Rs 7,000 to 5 lakh into EMI in easy monthly installments by entering your registered mobile number, PAN and OTP (received on mobile number) in the check-out section of the e-commerce website or app.

Option to pay in 12 months

Customers can choose any payment term of their choice from 3, 6, 9 and 12 months. The facility is available across categories like electronics, home appliances, laptops, mobile phones, travel, fashion apparel, sport wear, education and home decor.

The bank entered into an agreement with them

The bank has tied up with leading digital lending platforms FlexMoney and Shopse to offer this facility across 2,500 brands. The bank will add more brands to this facility in future.
