ICICI Bank has said that it has made changes in the service charge, which will be applicable from August 1.
ICICI Bank ALERT: If you are a customer of ICICI Bank then this news is very important for you. ICICI Bank has made some changes in the charges of Domestic Savings Account holders. For this the bank has issued a notification.
The bank is now preparing to change the rates of limit on cash transactions, ATM intercharge and check book charge for domestic savings account holders. The bank has mentioned this information in its website. These changes in service charge will come into effect from August 1, 2021.
When the cash transaction limit is imposed, it will be seen in which type of your account. That is, it will be according to your account.
Know how many times you can do cash transactions
1 – ICICI Bank gives 4 cash transactions free every month for regular savings account. 150 rupees will have to be paid on every transaction after the free limit.
2 – The value limit (Deposit + Withdrawal) includes both home branch and non home branch transactions.
3 – Home branch – From August 1, the value limit in the home branch for customers will be Rs 1 lakh per month per account, Rs 5 will have to be charged for every Rs 1000 above 1 lakh or the minimum is Rs 150.
4 – No charge will be levied on cash transaction of Rs 25,000 per day from non home-branch. After this, Rs 5 will be charged for every Rs 1000, minimum Rs 150.
5 – Third party cash transactions (deposit + withdrawal deposits and withdrawals) – up to a limit of Rs 25,000 per transaction, Rs 150 per transaction. Not more than Rs 25,000 is allowed.
6 – For Senior Citizen Customers, Young Star/Smart Star Accounts while the limit of Rs 25,000 per day will be applicable, no charge of any kind will be levied.
Silver Saving/Salary Account
There will be no charge for 5 transactions per month. After this, a charge of Rs 5 will have to be paid per transaction of Rs 1000, minimum Rs 150.
ATM Interchange Charges
If you withdraw cash from any non-ICICI Bank ATM, the first 3 transactions in a month will be free in 6 metro cities (Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Hyderabad). This includes both financial and non-financial transactions.
For other places, first 5 transactions in a month will be free. After this, any financial transaction will be charged Rs 20, and any non-financial transaction will be charged Rs 8.5.
Change in check book charges
Currently, ICICI Bank account holders get a check book with 20 leaves in a year for free, after that if more leaves are needed, then customers have to pay Rs 20 for a check book with 10 leaves. But now they will get a free check book with 25 leaves in a year, after that Rs 20 per 10 pages will have to be paid for additional check book. That is, 20 rupees will have to be paid for 10 leaves.
