ICICI Bank launched the facility of Instant EMI (Equated Monthly Instalments) on Wednesday 24 March on its internet banking platform. Under this facility, customers of the bank can convert their transactions of up to Rs. 5 lakhs into easy EMIs.

Under this facility, the customers of the bank can convert their transactions of up to Rs. 05 lakhs into easy EMIs. The bank has named its facility as ‘EMI @ Internet Banking’. Those customers of the bank will be the biggest beneficiaries of this facility, who have been given pre-approved loan facility by the bank. Through this facility, customers will be able to use this loan at any time and can easily repay it in monthly installments in a digital way.
Be the first bank to offer this facility
ICICI Bank has become the first bank in the country to introduce such instant EMI facility on its internet banking platform. The bank has tied up with more than 1000 merchants to maximize the benefit of this ‘EMI @ Internet Banking’ to its customers. In this, the bank has also tied up with several leading online payment gateway companies including BillDesk, Razorpay. Through this facility of the bank, customers will be able to convert the bill into easy EMI immediately by shopping online through shopping portals, insurance, travel, education or school fees and electronic chains.

According to ICICI Bank’s Head- Unsecured Assets Sudeep Roy, the bank’s ‘EMI @ Internet Banking’ facility will make it easy for customers to convert their large transactions into easy EMIs. There is no need to visit any branch for this facility. Everything will be done digitally. This facility will make online shopping easy for pre-approved customers.

According to Ajay Kushal, Director and Co-founder of BillDesk, easy finance will be available to customers for online shopping through this facility of ICICI Bank. With the help of BillDesk, customers of the bank will be able to easily make monthly payments of their bills in easy EMI.
