Insurance Claims: After WhatsApp, now ICICI Lombard has started offering its insurance services on Telegram as well. In this, all the information can be found from motor insurance claim registration to the location of the garage. 

New Delhi: Insurance Claims: You can now claim motor insurance on Instant Messaging App Telegram as well. ICICI Lombard has started this service for its customers. It will provide this service on Telegram through Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot @ICICI_Lombard_Bot.




Insurance claim on Telegram

After WhatsApp, if any instant messaging app has rapidly made its place among the people, then it is Telegram. Keeping this in mind, ICICI Lombard has started this service. It has become the first non-life insurance company in the country to offer such a service. Customers get many types of services on Telegram chatbot. For example, one can register motor claim, track claim status, renew insurance policy, download policy documents, change policy details. This information has been given in a press release issued by ICICI Lombard.

Services on WhatsApp increased further

Apart from this, ICICI Lombard has also increased its existing services on the WhatsApp platform. Under the new services, customers can get instant information related to the status of the claim. Customer can upload documents for any claim and initiate claim. To file a claim for motor insurance, the customer has to provide the vehicle’s registration number, date and time and place of the incident. The customer can take advantage of these services by starting a WhatsApp chat on 7738282666.

Can locate hospital, garage

These services are quite user friendly on popular chatting apps like WhatsApp and Telegram. Those customers who will get essential insurance services on their mobile in a contactless way at a pinch, no need to go anywhere or do paperwork. On the app you can find the nearest branch of ICICI Lombard. Based on the current location of the customer, the distance between the hospital and the garage and whether the location can also be ascertained.
