Out of which the first installment of Rs 2,000 will be given in May. Crores of ration card holders will benefit from this announcement of the state government, 2.7 crore ration card holders will benefit. Apart from this, CM Stalin also announced that the state government will bear the cost of corona related treatment of all state government insurance cardholders in private hospitals.

Last year, the government was giving 2500 rupees
