New Delhi, The central government plans to open 1 lakh LPG delivery centers across the country by March 2022. It will focus on rural and semi-urban areas. The government’s e-service delivery unit CSC SPV said that it has opened around 21,000 LPG centers in various states along with 3 state-owned oil companies BPCL, HPCL and IOC.

Dinesh Tyagi, MD, CSC SPV said in a statement that today the number of our LPG distribution centers with BPCL has reached 10,000, which is a big achievement for us. Apart from this, we are running 6,000 LPG distribution centers with HPCL and 5,000 with IOC. Our LPG distribution centers will reach 1 lakh by the end of the current business year.

CSC Center Open

CSC has opened these LPG distribution centers in all states. 5 states… Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Rajasthan have the largest number of these centers. Our emphasis is on rural areas where people still depend on wood and other polluting fuels for cooking. CSC, through its digital service portal, will help beneficiaries deliver LPG cylinders to their homes.

CSC SPV CEO Sanjay Kumar Rakesh said that the LPG center we are managing is aimed at providing clean fuel to poor families.
