Canara Bank is going to change the IFSC code of Syndicate Bank from 1st July 2021.
If you are a customer of Syndicate Bank then there is important news for you. Canara Bank is going to change the IFSC code of Syndicate Bank from 1st July 2021. Actually, Syndicate Bank has been merged with Canara Bank on 1st April 2020. Now Canara Bank is going to change the IFSC Code of Syndicate Bank branch from 1st July. The old IFSC code will work only till June 30, 2021. Customers need to get the IFSC code for their bank branch.
All Syndicate Bank customers have been asked to check the updated IFSC Code from their branch. It has been said on behalf of Canara Bank that after the merger of Syndicate Bank, the IFSC Code of Syndicate Bank branch has been changed. The bank has asked customers to update the IFSC code, otherwise the benefits of facilities like NEFT, RTGS and IMPS will not be available from July 1. Along with this, a new check book will also have to be issued.
The bank has said that the customers should tell all the money senders that now while using NEFT / RTGS / IMPS, use only the new IFSC starting with CNRB. Add 10000 to the old IFSC Code of Syndicate Bank as per Canara Bank. For example, if the old IFSC code was SYNB0003687 then now the new IFSC code will be CNRB0013687 in its place.
