IMD Alert: Alert issued for thunderstorm, lightning and hailstorm in these states, know the weather condition

Possibility of rain, thunderstorm and lightning at these places

According to the Meteorological Department, cyclonic circulation is formed over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and South-West Madhya Pradesh. Due to this, heavy rains may occur in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karnataka and Kerala till 5 and 6 April. Apart from this, light to moderate rains are expected in many areas of South India till 6 April. Meanwhile, thunderstorms, thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds may also occur. According to the Meteorological Department, similar conditions are likely to persist in Central India, Maharashtra, Gangetic plains, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha till 4 April. At the same time, hailstorms may occur in Karnataka, West Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Telangana.

Heatwave conditions will prevail in these states

The IMD said in its weather bulletin on April 2, heatwave conditions are likely to persist in different areas of Saurashtra and Kutch during the next 7 days. Heatwave conditions may persist in West Rajasthan from 5 to 8 April. Heatwave conditions are expected in some areas of Gujarat from 6 to 8 April. Heatwave conditions may occur in eastern Rajasthan on 7 and 8 April. According to the spokesperson of the Meteorological Department, due to the effect of Western Disturbance, many places in Rajasthan are likely to remain cloudy today. Heat will increase in the coming days, heatwave warning in many states

The Meteorological Department has forecast that Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and northern Karnataka and Tamil Nadu will experience more heat in April-June.
