IMD Alert! Big News! Heavy rain in many states till November 8, temperature will fall in Delhi-UP, fog will increase, snowfall on mountains.

Rain has been predicted in many areas of Jharkhand today while light rain may be seen in Orissa also. There is a possibility of rain in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh also.

Weather Update Today: The weather of the country is undergoing changes. Significant changes in the weather are being seen continuously in many states. Uttar Pradesh will witness severe cold in the month of December. At present, heavy pollution persists in Delhi including Lucknow and Haryana.

El Nino is going to have an impact on the weather. In such a situation, the possibility of severe cold this time has been ruled out. However, fog has started in Delhi along with cold. There is a continuous increase in smog in some areas. Snowfall also continues in the mountainous areas. There will be many important changes in the weather in the month of November, along with this, many cyclones are also expected to become active. Night time temperatures may remain higher than normal. Cold nights have now started getting warmer. According to IMD’s forecast, the northwest will remain.

Light rain in Orissa also

Rain has been predicted in many areas of Jharkhand today while light rain may be seen in Orissa also. There is a possibility of rain in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh also. However, the weather will remain dry in West Bengal. There is a possibility of light drizzle in some areas. The forecast has been released for the month of November. In which Director General M Patra has said that the monthly year in November is expected to be in the normal range in the entire country. In such a situation, 77 to 123 percent LPA has been expected.

Giving information, IMD said that the impact of Northeast Monsoon has been less this time. The lowest rainfall has been recorded during the northeast monsoon in 2023. The lowest rainfall recorded in the region was in 2016, when only 50 mm of rainfall was recorded. 74.9 mm rainfall has been recorded in October this year. However, a forecast of changing weather has been issued in many areas in the month of November.

Impact of Northeast Monsoon is less this time

Moderate rain warning has been issued in many areas of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands including Royal Border. The sky will be cloudy. Wind can blow at a speed of 20 to 30 kilometers per hour. According to Mahapatra, there is a possibility of more rain than normal in most of North West India, East Middle East and North East India including some areas of South Peninsular India. A forecast of below normal rainfall has been issued in the country in November.

The IMD network forecast clarified that the temperatures over the plains during September and October were also above normal and this is expected to continue. Higher than normal western cyclones are expected to be active in November. Due to which the weather will be cloudy at night and there is a possibility of it being hot. The minimum temperature may be recorded above normal.

Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, will remain partly cloudy in the surrounding areas on November 3. There is a possibility of rain. Fog and mist will also be seen on 4th November. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be no change in the minimum temperature in the state during the next 2 days. However, after this a drop of two to three degrees may be seen. Adverse weather conditions can also be seen in Delhi. Due to smog, the air quality is being considered poor.

According to the Meteorological Department in Bihar, a complete forecast of dry weather for the next 6 days has been issued. Light to moderate rain has been predicted at one or two places in Gaya, Nalanda, Nawada, Sheikhpura, Begusarai, Jehanabad, Bhagalpur, Banka, Munger, Jamui on 3 to 4 November. Moderate rain warning has been issued in Chhattisgarh, Orissa including Royal Seema, Lakshadweep, South Interior Karnataka. The sky will remain cloudy in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram. A forecast of moderate rain along with strong thunderstorm has been issued in some areas, while in Western Himalayas, Jammu and Kashmir, Leh, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Himachal and Uttarakhand. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall.
