Whereas there is a possibility of heavy rain at isolated places in Rayalaseema, South Interior Karnataka. In view of the possibility of heavy rain, IMD has issued orange alert in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Whereas yellow watch has been issued in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Karnataka.

According to IMD, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain at isolated places in Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry today. Whereas there is a possibility of heavy rain at isolated places in Rayalaseema, South Interior Karnataka. There is a possibility of rain with lightning and gale (wind speed 30-40 km per hour) over Kerala and Mahe and lightning over Rayalaseema, Telangana, South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, Lakshadweep. In view of the possibility of heavy rain, IMD has issued Orange Alert in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Whereas yellow watch has been issued in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Karnataka.

According to IMD, light, moderate to heavy rains are likely to continue over Tamil Nadu-Puducherry-Karaikal and South Interior Karnataka in South India during the next 7 days. There is a possibility of heavy rain at isolated places in Kerala and Mahe from 3rd to 7th. There is a possibility of light, moderate to very heavy rain in Andaman and Nicobar Islands during the next 7 days.

Due to the effect of a weak western disturbance, there is a possibility of light rain or snowfall at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. According to IMD, a fresh western disturbance is likely to affect the western Himalayan region from the night of 7 November. Due to its effect, there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall at different places in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh during 7 to 9 November.
