IMD Mausam, IMD Alert, Today Weather Update: Heavy rains have started in almost all the districts of the country. Monsoon rains are being seen in all the states of the state. Early arrival of monsoon has been predicted in some areas. At the same time, rain activity has started in the hilly areas. A forecast of thunderstorms has been issued. Heavy rain has been predicted in Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh including Uttarakhand Himachal.
Weather will change after july 5
The Meteorological Department had predicted a normal monsoon this year. The rain activity is going to increase in North West India including Delhi from 5th July. According to the Meteorological Department, for the last few days, the monsoon was seen in its weak condition in North West India including Delhi and NCR. On the other hand, rain was being seen in different parts of Haryana including some parts of Punjab and some parts of North Rajasthan. The weather will change after July 5. Intermittent rains will continue in these states till July 4, while after July 5, rains will intensify. Due to the moist winds coming from the Arabian Sea, the rain activity is going to increase in these areas.
Heavy rain forecast
According to the Meteorological Department, in more than half a dozen states, there will be a change in the wind speed of significant changes in the weather after July 5. Along with this, there are chances of change in the direction of the wind. There will be relief from the humid heat. Extremely heavy rain has been predicted in the areas of capital Delhi and Gujarat including Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh. A drop of two to three percent in temperature will also be recorded.
Weather system
- Talking about the weather system, a cyclonic circulation has formed over northwest Uttar Pradesh and adjoining areas.
- While in the east and west the drug line extends from northwest Rajasthan to Manipur, while a line runs from south Haryana to Uttar Pradesh Bihar through the Himalayas of West Bengal and south Assam.
- Apart from this, a trough from a cyclonic circulation over northwest Uttar Pradesh is moving from east Rajasthan and Gujarat towards northeast Arabian Sea.
- A cyclonic circulation lies over the central part of South Bay of Bengal up to 5.8 km above mean sea level.
- The same line is moving from Gujaratset to Kerala date, due to which rain activity can be seen in these areas as well.
- Not only this, the monsoon is moving towards the hilly states in its normal pace.
Rain in these areas in the next 24 hours
- Heavy rain warning has been issued in many areas of West Bengal including Sikkim, Assam, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Orissa during the next 24 hours.
- Along with this, a forecast of thundershowers with moderate rain has been expressed in the surrounding areas of Tamil Nadu.
- According to the Meteorological Department, a warning of moderate rain has been issued in North East India, Bihar, Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Central Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, South Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Uttarakhand and West Bengal.
- Correcting this, a forecast of lightning-thunderstorm has been issued in Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, East Rajasthan, issuing an orange alert for heavy rain. Wind blowing at a speed of 12 to 25 km has also been predicted.
Weather alert
- Widespread rain and thundershowers very likely over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Coastal Karnataka and Lakshadweep.
- Scattered rain and thundershowers may occur over Jharkhand, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, West Rajasthan, Marathwada and Chhattisgarh.
- Heavy rain very likely over parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Konkan-Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka and Kerala-Mahe.
- The maximum temperature is likely to remain above 40°C at a few places over Rajasthan.
Conditions favorable for southwest monsoon
Talking about monsoon, conditions have become favorable for southwest monsoon in Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan in next 2 days. In such a situation, with the entry of monsoon in these areas, there will be a significant change in the weather. A warning has also been issued for very heavy rains from July 5, flood situation may arise.
Monsoon rains including pre monsoon activity from July 7
Due to the rains in Gujarat and Maharashtra, the condition of the people is miserable. A cyclonic circulation lies over the lower and middle levels over Uttar Pradesh & neighborhood. Due to which there are chances of weather change in the capital Delhi and surrounding areas including from Uttar Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, an orange alert of heavy rains was issued at different places in Chhattisgarh between July 6 and 5 more in Madhya Pradesh. Along with the rain of clouds between July 6, a warning of thunder has also been issued. Heavy rains may occur at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh from 4th to 6th July while very heavy rains have been predicted in West Uttar Pradesh till 7th July. Torrential rain warning has been issued in Uttarakhand till July 6. During this, people have also been advised to be alert from landslides.
Heavy rains have been predicted at many places in Gujarat and Madhya Maharashtra during the next 5 days. People have been advised to be alert amid torrential rains. Orange alert has been issued for very heavy rain. Along with this, a forecast of high speed wind has also been issued. Monsoon rains along with pre-monsoon activity have made the weather pleasant. At the same time, there is a drop of three to five percent in the temperature.
Moderate rain warning till July 12
Rain has been predicted in more than 40 districts of Uttar Pradesh, while in Bihar, including Patna, Sasaram, thunderstorm and strong wind have also been forecast. Warning of extremely heavy rain and lightning has also been issued in 40 to 50 districts of West Bengal including Jharkhand. The wind will blow at a speed of 12 to 15 km. In the same areas of Rajasthan, Haryana and Punjab where the monsoon has not reached, monsoon will be seen after July 5. Moderate rain warning has been issued in Orissa, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh including Kerala, Tamil Nadu Rayalaseema including Andaman Nicobar Islands till July 12. The sky will be cloudy, along with it strong wind can blow.
Landslide alert
Talking about the eastern states, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in areas including Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram. Along with this, an alert has been issued. People are being advised to be alert for landslides in these areas. Flood like activity has been created in Assam many people have been displaced.
Alert in these states for the next 5 days
In areas where people have been advised to be alert by the Meteorological Department while issuing an alert for very heavy rain. In this, a warning of very heavy rain has been issued in Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra for the next 5 days. Apart from this, forecast of extremely heavy rain has also been expressed in Gujarat. A flood like situation has been created in Gujarat. The news of death of 10 people is coming out in 30 hours. At the same time, Badrinath Highway has been closed for the third time. Heavy rain has been predicted in the state including Bihar in 24 hours.
Badrinath Highway in Uttarakhand is closed for 13 hours. It has been closed due to water filling in the same drain. Has closed for the third time in the last 1 week. While in Himachal, 24 people have died in the last 1 week. Due to heavy rains, flood-like conditions have been created in Junagadh, Jamnagar, Valsad, Surat and other districts of Gujarat. SDRF has been deployed for rescue and relief operations.
