IMD Alert: Meteorological Department issued red-orange alert for 5 days of heavy rain in 17 states, know forecast on Delhi-Himachal-Mumbai-Maharashtra

There have been significant changes in the weather in Bihar Jharkhand. In fact, along with the humid heat, excess moisture is being seen. As of now, rain has been ruled out over Bihar Jharkhand for the whole week.

Torrential rain forecast in Chhattisgarh

The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted torrential rain in Chhattisgarh for the next 24 hours on Friday. Along with this, warnings have been issued in many districts and red alert has been issued in Chhattisgarh. Very heavy rain has been predicted in the western part of Madhya Pradesh. Along with this, a warning of heavy thunderstorm has been issued. Wind can blow at a speed of 20 kilometers per hour.

Rain activity in the state

Rain activity has increased over adjoining states of Central India. Red alert was issued in Maharashtra’s capital Mumbai and surrounding districts. Central Railway traffic has been disrupted due to heavy rains. Ambernath railway line has been completely submerged. The central part of Mumbai city is waterlogged. According to the same IMD, torrential rain has been predicted from Friday to Sunday in Chhattisgarh.

Local flood warnings issued

According to the Meteorological Department, a local flood warning has been issued in view of the possible impact of heavy rains. People have been instructed to stay away from 15 places. Heavy rain alert has been issued in Raigad, Pune and Palghar districts till July 25. Orange alert has been sounded in Ratnagiri while all government offices and educational institutions in Hyderabad were closed on Thursday. On the other hand, holidays were declared in these areas on Friday as well.

Heavy rain warning issued

Heavy rain warning has been issued in Himachal, Uttarakhand, Punjab, South Rajasthan and Southwest Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, till July 26, an alert of heavy rain was issued in these pictures. Rain has been forecast till July 30 in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, West Rajasthan and East Rajasthan. At the same time, warnings of lightning and thunderstorm have also been issued. Heavy rain has been predicted till July 27 in Konkan Goa, Madhya Maharashtra of west central states. Heavy rain warning has been issued for the next 3 days in Saurashtra, Kutch, Marathwada, Gujarat and Mumbai.

Heavy rain warning till 27th July

A heavy rain warning has been issued in Madhya Maharashtra, Gujarat till July 25 while in Saurashtra and Kutch till July 27. Telangana in South India will see heavy rain activity till July 28. Heavy rain warning has been issued in the Karnataka border till July 27. On the other hand, heavy rains have been forecast for July 24 and 27 in interior Karnataka. In Karai Kal Main Bhi, on July 28, an alert has been issued for heavy rain. Odisha will see rain activity till July 25. On the other hand, rains are going to continue till July 28 in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura. A rain warning has also been issued in Assam, Meghalaya till July.

Heavy rains in Himachal, Uttarakhand

Heavy rains are being seen in Himachal, Uttarakhand. Clouds have burst at four places while a yellow alert has been issued for heavy rain. Very intense rain has been predicted at 3 places. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of landslides at four places. People have been advised to be cautious. Cloudburst has been observed in Karja and Jagatsukh. Manali’s connectivity with Kullu has been completely cut off, while in Kinnaur district too many commuters have died due to falling stones.

Heavy rain alert in Haryana, Punjab

Significant changes will be seen in the weather in Delhi, Noida, Bihar from Tuesday. Heavy rain has been predicted in 27 districts. And the wind will blow at a speed of 20 to 30 km. Not only this, people can also get relief from the humid heat. Heavy rain warning has been issued in Haryana, Punjab. Chhattisgarh will also see significant changes in weather due to cyclonic circulation. In Punjab, Haryana including Jammu and Kashmir, rain has been predicted till July 27. Warning of torrential rain has been issued in the areas.
