IMD Alert: Meteorological Department issued red-orange alert for heavy rains in these 12 states, know forecast of Meteorological Department

Today Weather Update: The period of change in the weather of the country is going on. Changes in the weather are being seen continuously. Rain is being seen in many areas. People will get relief from the humidity in Chhattisgarh including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh. On the other hand, due to the activation of monsoon, significant changes will be seen in the weather. Heavy rain warning has been issued in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Orissa due to the cyclonic circulation in the Bay of Bengal. In the next 24 hours, the Monsoon will reach inland levels over Odisha and Jharkhand states as low levels. Due to which the condition of active monsoon will continue in the eastern part and adjoining central parts.

Heavy rain warning issued in Jharkhand

Due to this changing effect of the weather, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in the hilly region of North India and Jharkhand including the foothills of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Sikkim, West Bengal, Northeast India. The low pressure area will move slowly after moving ashore. Due to which it is expected to enter parts of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and East Madhya Pradesh.

A widespread cyclonic circulation will persist over these parts for three to four days. There is a possibility of heavy rains in parts of Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rains may also occur in some parts of Telangana. Nagpur, Chandrapur, Brahmpuri, Gondia, Washim have been forecasted for rain with moderate brightness. Apart from this, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in some areas of the capital till August 20.

When will it rain in Bihar

Today’s rain warning has been issued in many areas of Bihar. After 2 days of heavy rain, there can be a significant change in the weather from Saturday. Light rain will be recorded. Along with this, the movement of clouds will continue. However, due to high humidity, there will be relief in the weather. The wind will blow at a speed of 8 kilometers per hour. Changes in the weather will be seen once again from Wednesday. Please tell that due to the weakening of monsoon in Bihar, it can increase for 2 to 3 days.

Meteorological department alert in Himachal Uttarakhand

The rain activity is going to continue in the hill state. Meteorological Department’s alert has been issued in Himachal Uttarakhand. Heavy rain warning has been issued in these areas for the next 10 days. Along with this, forecast has also been given by the Meteorological Department regarding thunderstorms and landslides. Heavy rain warnings have been issued since Sunday. However, people will feel relief due to decrease in rain activity at some places.

  • Scattered rain and thundershowers are expected over Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, Coastal Karnataka and Lakshadweep.
  • Widespread rain and thunderstorms are likely over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh.
  • Scattered rain and thunderstorms very likely over West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, East Rajasthan, Gujarat, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe.
