Monsoon has become active again in Bihar. Rain-related activities have now started increasing in the state amid severe heatwave conditions. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for thunder and lightning in all the districts of North Bihar on Tuesday. During this, there are chances of rain at many places. At the same time, it may rain from the sky in one or two districts of South Bihar. Scorching heat conditions are expected to prevail in other districts. Heatwave alert has been issued in three districts including Gaya.
In one to two days, there will be an expected change in the weather across the state in terms of rain. Conditions are being created for the spread of monsoon in other districts. Rain activities are expected to increase over South Bihar including Patna on June 21, 22 and 23. From Wednesday i.e. June 21, there will be a rapid drop in the maximum temperature in the districts of South Bihar. On Tuesday, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for lightning and thunder in all the districts of North Bihar while in one or two districts of South East Bihar.
Ashish Kumar, director of Meteorological Center Patna, said that there is a possibility of rain at some places including Seemanchal, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Vaishali, Shivhar and Katihar. Due to the formation of thunderclouds in the sky of Bihar, there may be scattered activities of rain in other districts as well. Partial rain in 15 districts including Patna
After humid heat throughout the day, 15 districts including Patna witnessed dust storm and scattered rain late on Monday night. It rained for some time towards Ashok Rajpath in Patna, while dust storm conditions prevailed on Nehru Path towards Gola Road and Jagdev Path around 10 pm. In other areas of Patna too, there was heavy rain at some places.
The Meteorological Department issued an immediate alert for thunderstorms in Munger, Bhagalpur, Khagaria, Vaishali, Madhubani, Banka, Begusarai, Samastipur, Supaul, Araria, Saharsa, Lakhisarai between 10 and 11 pm. The Meteorological Department has issued orange and yellow alerts for thunderstorms and rain at short intervals in Patna. However, despite the alert, there was almost no rain in many areas. Even though the easterly winds gave a lot of relief to the people. During this, power supply was interrupted repeatedly in many areas of Patna.
Temperature dropped due to rain in Seemanchal
Due to continuation of rain activities in Seemanchal, there is relief from the maximum temperature. The maximum temperature in Purnia has reached 33 degrees. 58 mm in Kishanganj, 53 in Taibpur, 46.2 in Chargharia, 51.6 in Farbisganj of Araria, 50.8 in Tedhaghat of Kishanganj, 48.2 in Jokihat of Araria, 39 in Araria city, 38.6 in Bhimnagar of Supaul, 37.4 in Kishanganj city, Supaul There was 38.6 mm of rain in Bhimnagar, 36.8 in Birpur, 34.2 mm in Araria’s Sikti.
