The Meteorological Department has also predicted sporadic rain in the surrounding plains from March 12 to 14. Also, heat may increase in Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and Kerala during the next 2 days.

Talking about rain activity, sporadic rain has been predicted in Punjab from March 12 to 14. There is a possibility of rain in Haryana and Western Uttar Pradesh on March 13 and 14. Apart from this, IMD in Northeast India has issued an alert of light rain in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on 13 and 14 March. Light rain is also possible in Odisha, West Bengal and Sikkim.
