The weather agency has predicted rain in many areas including Delhi, Western Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan. Apart from this, IMD has also given information about the latest status of monsoon. IMD has said that it may rain in these states from May 30, due to which there will be a decrease in temperature. Let us tell you that IMD has said that monsoon has now knocked in Kerala. It is raining heavily.

The IMD has issued a red alert for Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, western Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. On May 29, severe heatwave conditions are likely to continue in many parts of Rajasthan, some areas of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and some parts of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. It is expected to gradually decrease. The severe heatwave conditions in northwest and central India are expected to gradually decrease from May 30.

Heat wave conditions will continue in many areas of the national capital Delhi today with strong winds. The maximum temperature will be 46 degrees Celsius and the minimum will be 26.6 degrees Celsius. However, heatwave conditions may decrease after rain tomorrow.

IMD has also mentioned monsoon in its report. The Meteorological Department has said that the southwest monsoon has advanced to Maldives and some places in the South Arabian Sea. According to the latest information from IMD, monsoon has entered Kerala. Heavy rains are occurring all over Kerala.

Chances of heavy rains in these states

According to IMD, light to moderate rainfall with strong winds is likely in states like Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim next week. The Meteorological Department has also predicted that due to cyclonic circulation over South Tamil Nadu and adjoining areas, very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places over Kerala and Mahe on 29 and 30 May.
