IMD Alert: Weather will change in 24 hours, red-orange alert of heavy rain in these states, know the update of Meteorological Department

Today Weather Update: Warning of heavy rain has been issued in many areas including Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh. For this, Red Orange Alert was issued while rain activity is going to continue in Maharashtra, Goa as well. Very strong wind forecast has been issued at many places.

There has been an increase in the water level of many rivers. Along with this, a continuous drop in temperature is being seen. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the activation of monsoon, heavy rains can be seen in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Goa, Maharashtra including Madhya Pradesh Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh.

On the other hand, the effect of Western Disturbance active on the Himalayas will be seen in the states of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh including the capital Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, Himachal, Jammu Kashmir, Leh Ladakh etc. Heavy rain warning has been issued in the western and central districts of Uttar Pradesh during the next 24 hours. Before this, heavy rains have been seen in Moradabad, Aligarh, Orai, Fursatganj, Banda, Meerut, Bareilly. At the same time, the Akshay Line of Monsoon is also passing through Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Heavy rain havoc in Bihar-UP

In such a situation, havoc of heavy rains can be seen in both these states. Let us tell you that not enough rain has been recorded in East Uttar Pradesh. There has been a deficiency of 33% while 45% Bihar remains the state with the highest rainfall in the country. Fair rains over Bihar including most parts of Uttar Pradesh with heavy to very heavy falls at a few places. The activity is forecast to continue for 15 days of August due to the active onset of Monsoon.

Heavy rains in Himachal and Uttarakhand for the next 7 days

On the other hand, heavy rain warning has been issued in Himachal and Uttarakhand for the next 7 days. According to the Meteorological Department, the rain activity in the areas is going to continue for the time being. At the same time, due to the activity of western countries, forecast of heavy rain has been expressed in some areas, while light snowfall can also be recorded on the foothills.

The sky will be cloudy in Delhi

The sky will remain cloudy in the capital Delhi, while a drop of 2 to 3 percent in the temperature will also be recorded. Light drizzle can be recorded in some parts of Rajasthan and Gujarat, while some parts will see a rise in temperature as the heat rises. Humidity can be felt in the area.

Heavy rain warning in Chhattisgarh

Heavy rain warning has been issued in Madhya Pradesh Chhattisgarh. According to the Meteorological Department, an orange alert has been issued for heavy rains in 17 areas of Madhya Pradesh. In more than 12 districts of Chhattisgarh, people have been advised while giving orange alert for heavy rains.

  • 11 low pressure area has formed over North Chhattisgarh. Now moving into adjoining parts of Northeast Madhya Pradesh and Southeast Uttar Pradesh. In such a situation, it is expected to move in the northwest direction in the west of Madhya Pradesh. It will weaken in the evening of 4th August and it is forecast to turn into a low pressure area.
  • Monsoon trough is moving in Ferozepur, Kaithal, Delhi, Hathras, Prayagraj. Simultaneously, the center of the deep pressure area is moving towards Jamshedpur, Digha and then southeast and into East Bay of Bengal.
  • Apart from this, the Western Disturbance is being seen as a line of moist medicine of the mesotropospheric westerly winds.

Weather in next 24 hours

  • During the current 24 hours, a warning of heavy rain has been issued at some places with moderate rain in West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh including Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh.
  • Moderate rain warning has been issued for parts of Uttarakhand, Himachal, Punjab including Haryana Delhi, Northeast Rajasthan, Konkan, Goa, Karnataka, parts of Bihar and West Bengal including Jharkhand.
  • Light to heavy rain is forecast today in Northeast India, Odisha, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
  • Moderate rain warning has been issued today in Arunachal Pradesh including Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram. Yellow Orange Alert has been issued for this. A drop in temperature will be observed, along with landslides may occur at some places. Lightning warnings have been issued.

Heavy rain forecast in Madhya Maharashtra and Goa

Apart from Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, Central Karnataka, heavy rains have been forecast over Interior Karnataka and Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Madhya Maharashtra and Goa. A rise in temperature will be seen in some areas while a warning of lightning has also been issued at some places.

  • Very heavy rainfall is possible at isolated places over West Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Madhya Pradesh.
