Due to this, there is heavy rain from Chennai to Bengaluru. Winds are blowing at a speed of 50 to 60 kmph. The condition has become very bad due to heavy rains in Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu for the last 3 days. The southern states are also in the grip of rain. Normal life has been disrupted.

Torrential rain in Tamil Nadu
The Meteorological Department said that the highest rainfall on Wednesday was recorded in Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. 300 mm of rain was recorded here. At the same time, it rained throughout the day in Chennai, Royal Seema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Bengaluru. On Wednesday afternoon, Chennai in Tamil Nadu got relief from rain. An orange alert has been issued in Tamil Nadu by the Meteorological Department.

Light rain may occur over Northeast India, Sikkim, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, South-East Rajasthan, Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
