The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted intermittent rain throughout the day in the national capital today. Apart from Delhi, alert has been issued regarding rain in 26 states including Bihar and Bengal. Let’s know what the weather will be like today.

This rain is special in Delhi because after being in Orange Alert for four consecutive days, the rain in many areas of Delhi on Wednesday has brought relief.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of cloudy weather and rain on Thursday as well. This rain has reduced the humidity and also brought relief from the heat. Apart from Delhi, a warning of moderate to heavy rain has been issued in some parts of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Uttarakhand during the next 24 hours.

How will be the weather in Delhi today?

The weather department has predicted that the movement of clouds will continue on Thursday as well. There are also chances of thunderstorms, lightning and light rain. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 34 and 26 degrees Celsius respectively. The weather department has predicted that such weather will continue every day till July 9.

Heavy rain will occur in UP for the next five days

A warning of moderate to heavy rainfall has been issued in Uttar Pradesh including Lucknow till July 8. A warning of very heavy rain has been issued in eastern Uttar Pradesh on Friday. According to IMD, the intensity of rainfall will also increase in the central and southern parts of the state during the next 4-5 days. Very heavy rain is expected in Mirzapur, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Jalaun and surrounding districts on Thursday.

There will be rain in these districts of Bihar

A yellow alert for rain has been issued on Thursday in 9 districts of Bihar including Patna. There is a warning of very heavy rain in Supaul, Madhubani, Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, East and West Champaran and Katihar. Due to rain, the mercury of the capital has fallen by six degrees in three days. On Wednesday, 2.2 mm rainfall was recorded in the capital Patna. The highest rainfall of 235.4 mm was recorded in Barharia of Siwan.

Torrential rain continues in many areas of Uttarakhand

Heavy rain continues in Uttarakhand. Dehradun has been receiving continuous rainfall for two days. According to the Director of Meteorological Center, Bikram Singh, a red alert has been issued for heavy to very heavy rainfall in Kumaon for the next three days. Along with this, the state has received 36 percent more rainfall than normal in the last three days. 135 mm rainfall was recorded in Doon within 24 hours. Whereas, Jolly Grant area received the highest rainfall of 143 mm in the state.
