The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday issued ‘orange’ and ‘yellow’ alerts for several districts of Telangana, warning them of thunderstorms, hailstorms and strong winds till the morning of March 24.
The IMD also forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers at isolated places in Telangana between 5.30 pm on Friday and 8.30 am on March 24. At the same time, light to moderate snowfall may occur in the hilly areas of Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh. Light rain may also occur in some districts of South East Uttar Pradesh, East Vidarbha, East Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka.
