IMD issued alert of heavy rain in many states along with dust storm in NCR

The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning of thunderstorm and lightning in most states including the national capital Delhi and NCR. At the same time, an alert of heavy rain has also been issued in many states. On Thursday, the maximum temperature of the capital Delhi was 41.2 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was recorded at 24.6 degrees Celsius. A dust storm blew in Delhi-NCR late at night.

On Thursday, the maximum temperature of the capital Delhi was 41.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 24.6 degrees Celsius. A dust storm blew in Delhi-NCR late at night. Due to cold winds, the temperature dropped at night.

Heatwave alert in three states

According to IMD, heatwave will prevail in eastern and western UP, eastern Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand today. The temperature here is likely to remain above 40 degrees. An orange alert has been issued for this.

Heavy rain alert in South India

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in all the states of South India. A yellow alert for heavy rain has been issued for all places except coastal Andhra Pradesh. Apart from this, rain is also forecast in some states of North-East including Maharashtra, Bengal and some parts of Rajasthan.

Heat will increase again in UP

According to meteorologists, heat wave may continue in Uttar Pradesh till June 9. Due to cloudy weather and cold winds on Thursday, there was some relief from the heat, but from today, Friday, the heat will increase again. According to Prof. Suneet Dwivedi, head of the Center for Climatology and Ocean Studies of Allahabad University, the heat will continue till June 12. After this, the period of winds coming from the east will begin. Monsoon is running on its scheduled time. In such a situation, monsoon can reach Prayagraj between 20 and 22 June.

Monsoon will reach Himachal by June 20

Monsoon is expected to arrive in Himachal Pradesh on June 20. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no special change during a week and the rainfall that has occurred during two days will decrease.

The weather is expected to remain clear. In the last 24 hours in the state, there has been snowfall on high peaks, rain and hailstorm in most parts of the state. Due to this, there has definitely been relief from the heat. The minimum temperature has dropped by eight degrees.

It has been raining in Kashmir valley for three days

The weather in Kashmir changed due to the western disturbance since Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, rain started in the upper areas as well as the lower areas of the valley including Srinagar, which is continuing for the third day. According to the Meteorological Department, the rain will continue for the next 24 hours.
