According to the latest updates from the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of further advance of Southwest Monsoon into some more parts of South Bay of Bengal, Andaman Sea and Andaman and Nicobar Islands during next 2 days. The Meteorological Department has also informed that a Western Disturbance is prevailing over Iran and adjoining areas. At the same time, a cyclone is also formed over Pakistan. The wind speed can be 50-60 kmph. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rains in some areas of Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Punjab and Haryana today.
