IMD issued heavy rain alert in these states, know the condition of your city

The Uttar Pradesh Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for June 2-3. During this period, there are chances of rain or showers with thunder and lightning, dust storms can occur with a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.

UP Weather Update Today: Monsoon can knock anytime after June 15 in Uttar Pradesh. It is likely that it will enter the state via Ballia and Deoria. Before this, on June 1 today, there may be rain and thundershowers at some places in western and eastern UP. During this time, dust storms, thunderstorms, lightning along with strong winds at a speed of 40 to 50 km per hour can occur in both the parts. Here, there is also a possibility of heat wave and hot nights at some places in eastern UP.

Rain forecast between 2 and 4 June

According to UP weather, there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers at different places in Uttar Pradesh between 2 and 4 June. There is a possibility of heat wave conditions at one or two places in western UP and some places in eastern Uttar Pradesh. Orange alert of heatwave has been issued in Mirzapur, Prayagraj, Sonbhadra, Chandauli, Koshambi and Varanasi on June 1 and June 2. Minimum temperature can be between 26 to 27 degree Celsius and maximum temperature can be between 40 to 45 degree Celsius. Varanasi, Prayagraj, Jhansi, Agra and Bulandshahar will remain hot in entire Uttar Pradesh today.

Heat wave alert in 21 districts

On Saturday, heat wave to severe heat wave conditions are likely in Prayagraj, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Jaunpur, Prayagraj, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Sultanpur Mau, Ballia, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Sultanpur and adjoining areas.

Rain alert in these districts

Thunderstorms and lightning along with strong winds at the speed of 40-50km/h are expected in Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Gonda, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Unnao, Lucknow, Barabanki, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut and Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Kasganj, Etah, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah and Auraiya.

Thunderstorms and lightning along with strong winds at the speed of 40 to 50 km per hour are expected in Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Basti Bareilly, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar Badaun, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal, Jalaun, Jhansi, Lalitpur and its surrounding areas.

There will be movement of clouds in Lucknow, Barabanki, Hardoi, Kanpur city, Kanpur rural, Lakhimpur Kheri, Gorakhpur, Ballia Churuk, Bahraich, Fatehpur, Banda, Sultanpur, Faizabad, Fursatganj, Ghazipur, Fatehgarh and Basti from today.

Monsoon knock after 15 June

According to the UP Meteorological Department, monsoon can knock anytime between 18 and 20 June in Uttar Pradesh, monsoon will come via Ballia and Deoria. It is estimated that monsoon will enter southern and eastern UP on 20 June, due to which there may be rain in Varanasi, Allahabad, Gorakhpur, Deoria and surrounding areas. Monsoon will cover Purvanchal on 22 June, Central UP on 24 June and West UP by 30 June. On 25 June, monsoon will reach the south-western region of Etawah, Hardoi, Bareilly, Badaun and its surrounding areas.
