Delhi Mausam: The weather in Delhi is playing hide and seek. Due to clear skies during the day, the weather is warm during the day and cold is felt at night. There is a huge difference in the maximum and minimum temperatures in different parts of the capital Delhi. On Monday morning, there was a difference of more than seven degrees in the minimum temperature of Pitampura and Ridge area in Delhi. The minimum temperature in the Ridge area of Delhi was 13.1 and the minimum temperature in Pitampura was recorded at 20.6 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has warned of smog or haze in the morning and night in Delhi as well as NCR areas. Light fog can also be seen in Delhi.

According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum and minimum temperatures in the rest of Delhi are between 32 degrees Celsius and 14 to 19 degrees Celsius respectively. The Meteorological Department has forecast clear skies during the day in Delhi NCR areas for the next seven days. There is a possibility of fog at night due to slow wind speed.

The Meteorological Department has predicted that the wind speed will be around 4 kilometers per hour in the morning on November 6, 7 and 8. Due to this, there is no possibility of dispersion of pollution particles. On these three days, mist or fog can be seen in the morning. However, due to increase in wind speed during the day, the sky is expected to remain clear. According to the Meteorological Department, due to slow wind speed in the evening and night, mist, fog or smog can be seen.

The effect of smog was seen in Delhi on Monday morning. However, the matter of relief is that its layer is not thick. According to meteorologists, light smog is being formed due to low wind speed and falling temperature. Let us tell you that due to falling temperature, the moisture particles in the air start solidifying, which leads to the formation of fog. Smog conditions are created due to the mixing of smoke and pollutant particles in it. According to Skymet Weather scientist Mahesh Palawat, similar weather is expected in Delhi as well as NCR areas. According to meteorologists, due to low wind speed, an increase in pollution can also be seen.
