IMD Weather : The weather of North India is going to deteriorate once again. A new Western Disturbance is going to come on December 8 for the plains and hilly areas, due to which a change in the weather will be seen. There is a possibility of rain in some states of North India including Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh. Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, heavy to very heavy rain occurred in Tamil Nadu. At the same time, dense fog was seen in Meghalaya.
The Meteorological Department said that due to Western Disturbance from December 8, there will be rain and snowfall in the hilly and plain areas. This means that people will have to face the havoc of snowfall and rain in the cold, which can increase difficulties. There will be rain in Punjab, Haryana on 8 and 9 December. Apart from this, dense fog will be seen in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh from 7-10 December.
In North-West India, the minimum temperature is between 10-15 degrees, while the maximum temperature is between 15-20 degrees. In Central India, Gujarat, Maharashtra and the states of Eastern India, it is more than five degrees Celsius above average. Today, the lowest temperature in the plains was recorded in Hisar, Haryana, which was six degrees Celsius.
Cold is going to increase in North West India. The minimum temperature will fall by two degrees Celsius in the next three days. There will be no major change after that. At the same time, the minimum temperature in eastern India will fall by two degrees in the next two days. No major change is going to be seen in central India for the next five days.
Chances of rain and snowfall in Himachal on December 8-9
Most parts of Himachal Pradesh remained sunny on Wednesday. People have got relief from cold during the day due to clear weather in tribal districts Lahaul-Spiti and Kinnaur. But severe cold continues at night and natural water sources have frozen due to mercury being in minus. The mercury of the famous hill station Manali is also falling and it has reached close to zero. The Meteorological Department has predicted clear weather for the next three days. After this, the weather will change due to the activation of Western Disturbance and there may be snowfall in the mountainous areas and rain in the plains. Director of Meteorological Centre Shimla, Kuldeep Srivastava, said today that after the weather remains clear for the next three days, the weather will be bad in the entire state on December 8 and 9.
