IMD issues alert regarding heavy rain, storm and heatwave for next 5 days

India is going to see a big change in the weather for the next few days. Recently, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert regarding heavy rain, thunderstorm and heatwave. In this alert, strong thunderstorms, lightning and winds at the speed of 30-60 km / h can occur in many parts of the country on April 1 and 2. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert that there is a possibility of strong winds and lightning in some areas of the country. New weather alert

On 1 and 2 April, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat and Rayalaseema are likely to experience lightning and rain with strong winds at the speed of 30-60 km/hr. Between 31 March and 2 April, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe, Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam are also expected to experience thunderstorms and heavy rains. People have been advised to remain alert from the weather.

How will the weather of the country be?

On 29 March, strong surface winds may blow in many areas of North-West India, their speed can be up to 30 to 40 km/h. Whereas in Central India, the temperature will remain stable for the next 3 days. After this, there may be a drop of 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.

Heatwave alert

There is also a possibility of hot winds blowing in the Gangetic coastal areas of West Bengal on 29 March and in Odisha on 29-30 March. The Meteorological Department has predicted an increase in heat and humidity in some parts of Odisha. While heatwaves may also blow in Assam-Tripura from 29 to 31 March and in Gujarat from 29 March to 2 April.

It was hot in February

This time, summer season was seen from February itself. Till March, the temperature in many parts of the country remained around 30 degrees. In such a situation, with the change in weather, the weather is going to become normal in many parts of the country.
