At the same time, heat wave also occurred in Bihar, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Gujarat, Konkan etc. The highest temperature recorded yesterday was 47.2 degrees Celsius in Kalaikunda. Heavy rains also occurred in Arunachal Pradesh and Assam.
Regarding the coming days, the Meteorological Department has said that there is going to be heavy rain in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya on May 1 and 2, and in Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura on May 1 to 3. At the same time, a new western disturbance is going to hit North-West India on May 3. Due to this, an alert of rain, snowfall and thunderstorm has been issued in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh between May 3 and 6.
