IMD Rain Alert: There is an alert of rain, thunderstorm in the plains of Punjab and Haryana from June 3 to 6, Uttar Pradesh from June 2 to 5, and Rajasthan from June 2 and 3.
UP Rains: There is severe heat in various states across the country including Uttar Pradesh. People are troubled due to heatwave. The Meteorological Department has said that heatwave will continue for the next three days in North West, Central and East India and after that some relief is expected. On the other hand, an alert of rain and storm has been issued for four days in some states including UP. Regarding monsoon, the Meteorological Department has said that it is expected to reach Karnataka, Rayalaseema, coastal Andhra Pradesh, West Central and North West Bay of Bengal in the next two to three days.
Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, heatwave conditions were observed in Punjab, northwest Rajasthan, northern Madhya Pradesh, southern Haryana, Delhi, western Uttar Pradesh, western Jharkhand, central Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Vidarbha. Apart from this, a drop of two to three degrees Celsius has been recorded in the maximum temperature in Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh. The highest temperature recorded yesterday was 46.9 degrees Celsius in Jhansi, western UP.
For the next seven days, light to moderate rain will occur in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. At the same time, warnings of rain, thunderstorms and lightning have also been issued in Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal from June 2 to June 5, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh, Konkan areas.
Talking about North West India, Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand are going to receive light rain for the next five days.
