The Meteorological Department has informed that it will rain in the plains of North India from tomorrow till February 5 i.e. for six days, while in the hilly states also there is an alert of rain continuing till February 5. It is going to rain in UP between February 3 and 5. Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, dense fog was seen in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Western Uttar Pradesh, Meghalaya, while dense fog was also recorded in Odisha, Bihar, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim.
The Meteorological Department informed that two new Western Disturbances are going to arrive between February 1 and 3, due to which the weather will be affected. Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh will receive rain between January 30 and February 5. Himachal Pradesh is going to receive rain between January 30 and February 5, Uttarakhand between February 1 and February 5. At the same time, there is a rain alert in Punjab, Haryana between January 31 and February 5, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan between February 3 and 5. At the same time, Arunachal Pradesh, Northeast Assam, Nagaland will receive rain on January 30 and 31.

Apart from this, an alert of light to moderate rain has been issued in Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim on January 30 and 31. Arunachal Pradesh is going to receive heavy rain on January 30. Talking about the states of South India, Tamil Nadu, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe are likely to receive rain between January 30 and February 2.
The minimum temperature will increase by two to three degrees Celsius in the states of North West, East, Central and West India during the next three days. Dense to very dense fog will prevail in Uttar Pradesh till February 1. At the same time, dense fog is likely to prevail in Gangetic West Bengal till January 31, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim till February 1, Bihar, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya till February 2.
