Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, heatwave conditions were seen in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, North Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand, North West Rajasthan, North West Madhya Pradesh and Jammu Division. At the same time, it was very hot even during the night in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan. In most places in North India, the maximum temperature was between 44-46 degrees Celsius, which is 5-8 degrees Celsius more than the average.
Monsoon will advance in these states
During the next 3-4 days, conditions are favorable for the advancement of southwest monsoon in Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh and some more parts of northwestern Bay of Bengal, some parts of Gangetic plains of West Bengal, remaining parts of sub-Himalayan West Bengal and some parts of Bihar and Jharkhand. That is, the entry of monsoon is going to happen soon in these states. According to the Meteorological Department, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub Himalayan West Bengal will receive light to moderate rain for the next five days and a thunderstorm alert has also been issued. At the same time, Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha will also receive light to moderate rain for the next five days.
Light rain may occur in UP
Talking about other states, light to moderate rain is expected in Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra on 18-21 June. Apart from this, rain is also expected in Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal of South India for the next five days. At the same time, warning of rain, thunderstorm and lightning has been issued for the next five days in East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh. Talking about North India, light rain is expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand on 18-22 June, in some areas of Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan between 18-20 June.
