On the other hand, forecast of heavy rain has been expressed in 15 states today. Red Orange Alert has been issued for this. Issuing a thunderstorm warning, people have been advised to be vigilant. At the same time, an alert has also been issued regarding landslides in the eastern state including hilly areas.

Several weather systems are active at different places over the country. Due to which forecast of heavy rain has been expressed. Thunderstorm landslide warning has been issued. Orange alert of heavy rain has been issued in many areas including UP, Bihar, Uttarakhand.

  • The maximum temperature is likely to remain above 40°C at a few places over Rajasthan.

Alert issued in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, Delhi as well

The Meteorological Department has also issued an alert in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The rain activity is going to continue in the flood-hit capital Delhi. In Delhi, the situation may get worse. At present, the capital Delhi is not going to get relief from rain. Moderate rain has been predicted in some areas today.

Moderate rain forecast in UP, Bihar, Jharkhand and MP today

The minimum temperature in the capital Delhi was recorded at 27 degree Celsius while the maximum temperature was recorded at 30 degree Celsius. On the other hand, due to increase in the water level of Yamuna, flood situation has arisen. Moderate rain has been forecast in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh today.

  • A cyclonic circulation is likely to develop over Bay of Bengal on 18th July.

  • Moderate rains have been recorded over Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Konkan, Goa including Gujarat, Karnataka, Andaman Nicobar and Arunachal Pradesh.
  • Light rain warning has been issued in Northeast India including Punjab, Jammu Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Lakshadweep and Saurashtra.
