Narmada Puram, Betul, Harda, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Barwani, Alirajpur, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Panna, Damoh, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Dindori, Katni, Jhabua, Ujjain, Dewas, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri Up to 4 inches of rain has been predicted in Anuppur, Umaria.

Flood-like situation has created in 20 villages of Vidisha’s Sironj, Kurwai and Ganjbasoda areas. Most damage has been seen in Imlia and Fatehpur. The houses of 25 people are collapsing. The river is at its peak.

Waterfall in spate due to heavy rains in Indore

Due to the heavy rains in Indore, the waterfall has come in spate. A Class 12 student of a group who had come for a picnic has died due to drowning. Whereas in 24 hours, more than 8 inches of water has been filled in Bhimpur of Betul. Apart from this, 5 inches of rain has been recorded in Kalapeepal. Nagda in Ujjain, Badnavar in Dhar and Pachor in Rajgarh have recorded more than 3 inches of rain. Rain continues in Ujjain, Ratlam, Bhopal, Indore, Dhar, Tikamgarh, Khandwa and Naogaon.

Record 14.5% more rain since June 1

According to meteorologists, 14.5% more rainfall has been recorded since June 1. Madhya Pradesh has recorded 14% more rainfall while West Madhya Pradesh has recorded 15% more rainfall than the average. Rainfall continues in Seoni, Anuppur, Mandla, Chhindwara and Jabalpur along with Khandwa, Khargone Satna, Tikamgarh Rewa. Although 5 districts with highest rainfall were recorded Anuppur, Mandla, Jabalpur, Seoni, Chhindwara and lowest rainfall was recorded in Khandwa, Khargone including Tikamgarh, Satna, Rewa.
