IMD Rainfall Alert: Due to the effect of a new western disturbance in Rajasthan, Bikaner, Jaipur, Bharatpur and parts of Kota division are likely to have partly cloudy sky and strong winds with thundershowers in the afternoon during the next 48 hours. The wind speed is expected to be 40-50 kmph, along with light to moderate rain. The weather will remain dry in most of the remaining parts.
According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature may fall by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in the next 48 hours. Temperatures are likely to be recorded below 45 degrees Celsius at most places. However, heat wave may be recorded at some places in Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Dholpur and Bharatpur.
Most parts of the state are expected to get relief from heat wave during the next two-three days. Despite this, the maximum temperature in the border areas of western Rajasthan may again go above 45 degrees Celsius on June 4-5 and heat wave conditions may arise at some places.
People are expected to get some relief from the heat due to this change in weather. The possibility of rain with thunder can be beneficial for the farmers, which can give life to the crops, however, strong winds can also cause damage to the crops, so farmers have been advised to be cautious.
