The department says that the rainy season may continue in Central India till Friday, April 12. Here, the capital Delhi is facing scorching heat.

According to the latest forecast of the Meteorological Department, there may be light to moderate rain in Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Bihar and Andaman and Nicobar Islands between April 11 and 13. At the same time, light to moderate rain is expected in Telangana, Kerala, Mahe, Interior Karnataka for the next 7 days.

Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has said that there may be hailstorm at some places in Madhya Pradesh on Friday. At the same time, this type of weather can occur in Vidarbha on 12th April and in Marathwada on 12th and 13th April. According to IMD, there may be rain or snowfall in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand on April 11 and 12.

Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana may receive rain with strong winds between April 13 and 15. There are also chances of hailstorm in these areas during this period. It may rain in Rajasthan till April 15. The special thing is that there may be heavy rain or snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir on 13th and 14th and in Himachal Pradesh on 14th April.

Possibility of light rain in Delhi today

It was a sunny Thursday morning in Delhi and the minimum temperature was recorded at 19.6 degrees Celsius, which is one degree below the average temperature of this season. According to IMD, today the sky will be cloudy in the capital during the day and there is a possibility of light rain in the evening. He said that the maximum temperature in Delhi is likely to be around 38 degrees Celsius.
