Weather Update: The Meteorological Centre said on Saturday that the southwest monsoon has weakened in many states of the country including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar, Eastern UP.
Weather Update: After bringing relief in some places and trouble in others, it is now time for the monsoon to leave. There are reports that the monsoon may start withdrawing from Gujarat from Monday. The IMD i.e. the Meteorological Department has also indicated that around 23 September, favorable conditions are being created for the withdrawal of the southwest monsoon from West Rajasthan and Kutch. The special thing is that the monsoon is departing with a delay of about 10 days.

According to agency Varta, the Meteorological Center has said on Saturday that the southwest monsoon has now weakened in many states of the country Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Western Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, West Madhya Pradesh, Eastern Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat region, Saurashtra and Kutch, Konkan and Goa, Chhattisgarh, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, South Interior Karnataka and Kerala.
Where will it rain today
Northwest India may receive scattered to light rains this week except West Rajasthan. Heavy to very heavy rains may occur in Konkan and Goa till September 26, in Madhya Maharashtra till September 27, in Marathwada till September 25. Heavy rains are expected in Gujarat region till September 27.
IMD has informed that there are chances of rain in Odisha, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand during the next 3 days. Northeast India may also receive moderate rain during the next 2 days. The special thing is that on September 23, the Northeast may have to face heat and humidity.
The Meteorological Department has informed on Monday that light to moderate rain may occur in Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh this week. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in Madhya Pradesh during the next 7 days. Heavy rain may occur in Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh till September 26 and in Madhya Pradesh till September 27.
Coastal Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal may receive rain this week. Heavy rain may occur in South Interior Karnataka on September 23, Coastal Karnataka, Rayalaseema, North Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe on September 23 and 24, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam till September 25.
