IMD Rainfall Alert: There is a possibility of rain and storm in Bihar between 7th and 8th April and in Jharkhand between 6th to 9th April. Apart from this, rain has been predicted in Delhi also during the day.
IMD Rainfall Alert: Amidst the heat in North India, the Meteorological Department has said that there will be rain in different parts of the country. A warning of heavy rain and thunderstorm has been issued in North-East India till April 9, i.e. for five days. Apart from this, there will be a heat wave situation due to extreme heat in many states for the next two days.
Talking about the last 24 hours, heat wave occurred in Northern Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam. Apart from this, there was rain and snowfall in Arunachal Pradesh, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand. At the same time, light to moderate rain has also been recorded in Nagaland, Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Western Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, South Interior Karnataka and Kerala.
The Meteorological Department says that a Western Disturbance is present in the form of a cyclonic circulation over North Pakistan and its adjoining areas, which has formed with a trough in the middle and upper tropospheric westerlies for almost a long time. Due to this, the weather may be affected in many places. There is going to be light rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh on 5, 6, 10 and 11 April and in Uttarakhand for the next seven days. At the same time, Rajasthan is also going to receive light to moderate rain on 5, 6, 10, 11 and 11 April.
Apart from this, an alert of severe thunderstorm, lightning and rain has been issued in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura for the next seven days. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain and storm in Bihar between 7th and 8th April and in Jharkhand between 6th to 9th April.
Possibility of light rain in Delhi
The minimum temperature in Delhi on Friday was recorded at 20.2 degrees Celsius, which is one degree above the season’s average. The India Meteorological Department has predicted a generally cloudy day with light rain accompanied by strong winds. Humidity was recorded at 52 percent at 8:30 in the morning. The maximum temperature is likely to be around 36 degrees Celsius.
